Finished IM Lawrence Day's labour of love "Nick's Best" and I highly recommend it. The games are interesting, the annotations enjoyable and the stories are fabulous! It's a nice biography
Hi, I happened to drop in here and was delighted to see this post--I met IM Nickoloff at the World Open in 1990 and he was incredibly nice, hanging out with me for awhile just sitting and talking about some openings; I was a 1700-rated total stranger.
